Blog 2.0 Soup Kitchen
Last genius hour, I decided to do acrylic nails which were good but I didn't get a good meaning from it. This is why I decided for this genius hour, I'm going to donate my time at the soup kitchen. I chose to volunteer at the soup kitchen for a few reasons, I've volunteered before and had a great experience and really enjoyed it, I knew I'd be able to find greater meaning or lesson to this project, and third is I wanted to know more about the soup lesson and their mission. Every other week I will volunteer one to two times, and the weeks I'm not volunteering, I'll be researching their mission or interviewing staff and other volunteers. I learned how to time manage more and how to monitor my success better. I will know I was successful if I can find the meaning behind the soup kitchen and really see how much of a difference these volunteers are making. I want to be able to feel how the volunteers feel and see the work they put in.
